The fun begins as soon as you board your “DUCK”, a W.W.II style amphibious landing vehicle. First, you’ll be greeted by one of their legendary tour ConDUCKtors, who will be narrating your sightseeing tour of Boston. Then you’re off on a journey like you’ve never had before. And just when you think you’ve seen it all, it’s time for “Splashdown” as your captain splashes your DUCK right into the Charles River for a breathtaking view of the Boston and Cambridge skylines, a view you just won’t get anywhere else.
Then we’ll walk across the street to Faneuil Hall Marketplace. Four great places in one location – Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market, North Market and South Market, all set around a cobblestone promenade where jugglers, magicians and musicians entertain the passers-by.
Dine at a restaurant or at one of the many outdoor cafes. In addition, you’ll find thirty international food merchants inside the Quincy Market Food Colonnade – the largest food hall in New England. So, stroll, shop, eat, laugh, wander, wonder, and explore it all.
After lunch, walk back across the street to the New England Aquarium, home to thousands of aquatic animals - from northern fur seals to giant Pacific octopus to little blue penguins. They also offer a wide range of exhibits, including the largest shark ray touch tank on the East Coast and the Giant Ocean Tank, a four-story coral reef home to Myrtle the green sea turtle and hundreds of other Caribbean animals.

Join us for a day of fascinating history right in our own back yard. Orchard House is most noted for being where Louisa May Alcott wrote and set Little Women in 1868. This noble home also has a rich history stretching back two centuries beforehand, as well as more than 100 years of life as a treasured historic site. Discover the many ways in which they impacted literature, education, philosophy, art, reforms of all kinds -- and each other. The home was constructed circa 1650, and then witnessed the Redcoat Line of March to the North Bridge on the 19th April 1775! Revel in the resilience of this dear old house, and marvel at the bravery of its inhabitants throughout three centuries. This tour will introduce you to the family members themselves, the household items that held meaning to them, their individual and collective achievements and lasting impact, as well as their influence on characters in the beloved novel, Little Women.
Afterwards, we’re off to lunch to the Horseshoe Pub & Restaurant, a premier gastro pub. Choose between Beef Tips, Baked Haddock, Chicken Parm, all entrees served with mashed potatoes/pasta, salad and dessert, coffee, tea & soda.
Lastly, we stop at the American Heritage Museum, chronicling the history of the American soldier from the Revolutionary War to modern conflicts. First, we’ll start out at the May Baker Eddy Library to see the exciting new interactive experience, “How Do You See the World,” a three-story Mapparium globe, one of Boston's most well-known landmarks. The Mapparium is a three-story, walk-in globe made of stained glass. Visitors walk along a 30-foot glass bridge inside to view the world as it was in 1935, complete with outdated country names and borders, such as the Soviet Union. Its unique spherical shape also makes it a "whispering gallery," where a whisper at one end can be heard clearly at the other. After your experience in the globe, you will have time to explore the library.
Then we are off to the famous Cheers Restaurant! You've seen the TV Show and you know and love the characters; now experience the Boston pub that inspired it all. There we will enjoy a Garden Salad to start. Choose between Rebecca’s Fish & Chips, Crisp and flakey codfish lightly battered and deep fried, served with coleslaw, tartar sauce & French fries. This is the historic home of Robert Lincoln, the only child of President and Mary Todd Lincoln to survive to adulthood. The Peony’s should start to be in bloom for our visit! More than 1,000 fragrant peony blossoms in the Formal Garden at the Lincolns' mansion draw visitors from far and wide. Day 1 – Sunday, June 7, 2026
Start the summer off with a getaway to Nantucket Island! Nantucket, a tiny island situated off the coast of Massachusetts, holds a rich and storied history that spans centuries. From its early indigenous inhabitants to its prominence in the whaling industry, Nantucket’s history is a captivating tale of resilience, exploration, and transformation. Join us on a journey through time as we explore the fascinating history of Nantucket Island. We begin our journey by boarding the High-Speed Ferry in Hyannis for our trip over to the Island. Hy-line vessels provide plenty of comfortable indoor seating, onboard food service and a full bar. Once we arrive on the beautiful Island of Nantucket, we will take a 90- minute narrated tour of the Island. After the tour, you will have time to do a little shopping downtown and have lunch on your own. Later in the afternoon, we will check into the beautiful Nantucket Inn. Nestled by the serene South Shore beaches, this family-friendly resort promises both comfort and convenience, making it an ideal retreat just outside of downtown Nantucket. Since 1986, The Nantucket Inn has provided guests with a greater resort experience, complete with superior amenities at a reasonable value. Day 2 – Monday, June 8, 2026
Enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet at The Nantucket Inn. Today you will be able to explore the area on your own. Take advantage of the free shuttle service to downtown, Surf Side Beach, or just enjoy the amenities at the Inn! Use your history pass (included) to Explore the Nantucket Historical Whaling Museum. The Whaling Museum features permanent and rotating exhibitions in 9 premium galleries, with over a thousand works of art, artifacts and treasures on display, telling the Island’s fascinating stories over four centuries. The museum is home to a 46-foot sperm whale skeleton, a massive Fresnel lens, a restored 1847 candle factory and a relaxing, fully-accessible rooftop deck, offering stunning views of Nantucket harbor. If you are a golfer, Nantucket has two public golf courses close to the water with links-style holes reminiscent of Scotland, each treacherous in their own way with distinct atmospheres, services, and history. Day 3 – Tuesday, June 9, 2023
Begin the day with a delicious breakfast buffet, at the Inn, on our last day. Then we head over to the ferry to depart the Island. Once we are back in Hyannis, we will head over to E. Dennis to enjoy a boat ride on The Lobster Roll Cruise. Relax and enjoy the spectacular views from the decks of the “Lobster Roll” dinner cruise ship. Glide through the calm waters of Sesuit Harbor and into the serene beauty of Cape Cod Bay with its incredible sunsets and picturesque coastline. Choose between The Lobster Roll: A sandwich so good that they named a boat after it! We start with a grilled roll, a little lettuce and tomato and stuff it with fresh native lobster meat with a hint of celery and mayo. Or Roast Beef Rollup: Certified Black Angus prime rib, sliced thin and piled into a whole wheat lavash bread with a hint of mayo or Vegetarian Rollup: Fresh medley of summer vegetables and tomato rolled into a whole wheat lavish bread served with a hint of mayo. All come with potato chips and coleslaw. Our first stop of the day is at Chesterwood: The Gilded-Age historic home, studio, and gardens, as well as the former summer home of America’s foremost 20th century public sculptor. Daniel Chester French is best known for creating two of our nation’s most powerful symbols: Minute Man, 1874 (Concord, MA) and the seated figure of Abraham Lincoln for the Lincoln Memorial, 1922 (Washington, DC). You will tour the house, a 2 1⁄2-story Georgian Revival structure, The Studio, & Barn, now converted to a museum gallery and visitor center.
Next arrive at the Norman Rockwell Museum, dedicated to the art of Norman Rockwell. It is home to the world's largest collection of original Rockwell art. The museum also hosts traveling exhibitions pertaining to American illustration. While at the museum, we will enjoy a delicious boxed lunch on the beautiful outdoor terrace. Our first stop is Gillette Castle, set atop the most southerly hill in a chain known as the Seven Sisters, Gillette Castle was built by William Hooker Gillette, noted actor, director, and playwright. Gillette designed the castle and most of its contents to replicate a medieval design, checking every phase of its construction. Built of local fieldstone supported by a steel framework, it took twenty men five years (1914-1919) to complete the main structure.
Next, we head to lunch at The Griswold Inn. We start with a salad. Choose between Sauteed Chicken Breast with francaise sauce or Pan Seared Salmon Filet with fresh dill light dijon cream sauce. Climb aboard Northfields Scenic Riverboat, The Heritage, to enjoy a relaxing narrated 90-minute river tour. Next, we will visit the Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory in Greenfield–which consists of an 18,400 square foot facility that includes an 8,000-sq. ft. glass conservatory filled with butterflies, moths, and tropical vegetation. Once you enter the double doors, your first glimpse is one of awe! Approximately 3,000 butterflies of all colors, shapes, sizes, and, varieties go dancing past. Attendants are scattered throughout the conservatory, waiting to help you identify the many different butterflies. Enjoy the Koi Pond, or sit and relax at any park bench along the paths.
