Today we head to Atlantic City, New Jersey. We will make a breakfast & lunch stop on your own before arriving at Resorts Casino Hotel (800-334-6378) in the afternoon. Please note that our hotel rooms do not need to be ready upon arrival so please plan ahead. The casino features more than 1,500 slot machines, and table games. Resorts is home to the famous Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville restaurant, LandShark Bar & Grill – Atlantic City’s only year-round beach bar. Day 2 – Thursday, September 5, 2024
Today enjoy the day to yourself. What to do….North Beach Atlantic City has developed into the city’s cultural epicenter with a new energy, brand-new eateries and a beautiful Boardwalk overlooking the pristine Atlantic Ocean. Over the last years, the opening of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Ocean Casino Resort and Tennessee Avenue Beer Hall has pumped new life into this northern section of the Boardwalk, adding to the excitement already established by Resorts Casino & Hotel, Steel Pier and the Absecon Lighthouse.
Day 3 – Friday, September 6, 2024
We will check out of our hotel before lunch. We will make a stop for lunch on your own. For dinner we will stop at the Famous Blue Colony Diner, which serves a homemade breakfast, lunch & dinner all day, along with their enormous pastries. When we arrive on the island, be delighted with a 3-course lunch at The National Hotel on the porch overlooking the harbor. Begin with New England Clam Chowder. Today, we travel to the best location in Cape May, NJ – The Marquis de Lafayette Hotel – America’s oldest seaside resort. Each of their beautifully and comfortably appointed hotel rooms overlook the ocean. With breathtaking ocean views, each room features either one King or Two Double Queen beds. Bathrooms have classic subway tile, a soaking tub and shower, a framed mirror, and heat lamp. Guests can also enjoy the conveniences of a Keurig coffee maker and under counter refrigerator. Wake up each morning to peaceful oceanfront views from your private balcony. The beach and Famous Washington Street Mall are only steps away. Relax in their outdoor pool and hot tub. We will check into our hotel in the late afternoon. Have time to freshen up before dinner, then depart to Aleathea’s Restaurant, located just across the street, where you will be served in a Victorian setting. Enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet at the hotel to start your day off right. Enjoy the day to yourself, maybe today you visit the Washington Street Mall. The picturesque Washington Street Mall includes over 75 establishments in the heart of America's original seaside resort. A variety of unique boutiques, shops, fine dining restaurants, bars, quick eats, activities, and services are located along a 3-block stretch of Washington Street, which is closed to traffic. The Mall serves as Cape May's town square, and features numerous benches, luscious gardens, shady trees, historical markers, gas lamps, bistro-style string lights, Instagram-worthy photo opportunities, and more. Day 3 – Tuesday, September 10, 2024
Enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet at the hotel before we head out for a cruise. Hop aboard the Cape May Whale Watcher for the first trip of the day as they cruise around the island of Cape May. See Victorian homes, Cape May Lighthouse and many other points of interest as your captain narrates the tour with historical facts. Along the way, see the local dolphins in their pristine environment and learn about their habits and habitat all while enjoying the scenery. Once back from our cruise we will return back to the hotel. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon & evening to yourself. Meals Included – Breakfast.
Day 4 – Wednesday, September 11, 2024
Enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet at the hotel before we head to Atlantic City for the day. Arrive at the Resorts Casino in Atlantic City, featuring more than 1,500 slot machines and table games. Resorts is also home to the famous Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville Restaurant, LandShark Bar & Grill – Atlantic City’s only year-round beach bar. Don’t foreget to take some time to walk the Boardwalk and stick your feet in the sand. After our day on the Atlantic City Boardwalk, we’ll depart, making a stop for dinner.
Arrive at the Tuckahoe Inn, a longtime family-owned establishment with a homey feel & bay views offering seafood & steak dishes. After dinner we will depart back to the hotel to relax after a fun-filled day. Meals Included – Breakfast, Dinner.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet at the hotel before we depart home. We’ll make a stop at the Blue Colony Diner, so that you can have a late lunch/early dinner on your own. You will travel in their beautifully restored vintage coaches along the shores of the lake traveling between Meredith and Lakeport, always within view of the lake during the fall foliage season. Day 2 – Saturday, October 26, 2024
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before we begin our day. First, we’ll come together for an experience that will spark our creativity and innovative thinking through their exhibits & stories. Then enjoy a delicious lunch buffet before our next adventure. We will get to experience a living history exhibit that explores the rich history of the region, so that we can gain a better understanding of it. Day 3 – Sunday, October 27, 2024
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before checking out. Our first stop today will kick start our senses at this 24-acre property located in the heart of it all, with displays that will inspire us all. Then, enjoy lunch before getting a chance to visit a reconstructed homestead and get a glimpse into the past, accompanied by authentic artifacts relevant to the time period. Today, we travel to the White Mountains in New Hampshire, which covers about a quarter of the state and boasts some of the highest peaks in New England.
We’ll make a stop at Muddy Moose Restaurant, where you can order lunch on your own off their wilderness-themed American menu in a low-key, lodge like setting with a fireplace & a warm bar.
Then we will arrive at Nestlenook Farm for a Sleigh Ride. Our journey through their 65-acre estate begins the moment we board one of their custom Austrian Sleighs, pulled by horses. Enjoy the winter wonderland as the sleigh bells are jingling, skaters glide past on their outdoor skate park, music chimes in the background and snowcapped mountains surround you. Warm up in their fully enclosed warming center, sipping hot chocolate by the fire or roast marshmallows on one of their many outdoor fire-pits!
Then we will travel a short distance, where we will arrive and be greeted at the White Mountain Hotel & Resort, in North Conway, NH. The hotel features one of the most spectacular mountain settings to be found anywhere in New England! Enjoy outstanding facilities, including the award-winning Ledges Restaurant, Tullamore Tavern, health club, game room, and a year-round outdoor heated pool and jacuzzi. Upon arrival, enjoy a Yuletide Welcome Reception with punch in the Tullamore Tavern. This evening, you will be treated to an elegant dinner, which you may order off the menu, in Ledges Restaurant. After dinner, adjourn to their grand Echo Ballroom and enjoy this evening’s entertainment. Meals Included – Dinner.
Day 2 - Saturday, December 7, 2024
Begin the day with a hearty breakfast in Ledges Restaurant. You will then depart on a Guided Sightseeing Tour of Northern Mount Washington Valley, where you will learn the rich history of this area and enjoy scenic vistas including the famous Jackson Covered Bridge, Cranmore Mountain, the historic Conway Scenic Railroad, and much more!
After your tour you will return to the hotel for a wonderful lunch in Ledges Restaurant. After lunch enjoy a show in the Echo Ballroom. This evening you will enjoy another dinner included in Ledges, followed by the grand finale Christmas Show! Meals Included – Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Day 3 - Sunday, December 3, 2023
This morning, enjoy your breakfast in Ledges Restaurant before checking out of the resort. Then we will depart for a special tour to Bethlehem, NH to the 1400-acre Rocks Estate, home of the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests. Here you will enjoy an educational program about the history of the estate, with a focus on the Moose and Bear population found throughout NH. After the program, you will have time to explore their gift shop with an abundance of New England made specialty foods and crafts! Others may choose to relax and enjoy a cup of cocoa and cookies, or a walk around the grounds.
Next, we will make a stop at the Bethlehem Post Office. Because of the name of the town, people come from all over New England, and some people even send their cards from all over the United States and around the world to get their Christmas cards stamped with a holiday decorative cache stamp of the town of Bethlehem. So don’t forget to bring your Christmas Cards to mail!
Then, we will begin the drive home, making a stop for lunch on your own with many pleasant memories of your Christmas in the White Mountains. Meals Included – Breakfast.
