Day 1 – Monday, April 30
We depart this morning for the lovely rolling hills and endless farmlands of Amish Country! We will travel today to our destination at the Best Western Intercourse, 3610 East Newport Rd. Gordontown, PA Tel: (717-768-3636). This evening we depart for Plain and Fancy to enjoy a plated dinner. After dinner we will enjoy the presentation “Artist in an Hour.” Anyone can be an artist if given the right materials and proper instruction. Let their resident artist, Elva Hurst walk you through the steps of creating your Lancaster County farms scene using chalk pastels. You’ll be amazed at your own hidden talent as Elva guides you through the use of colors and blending to create your own amazing original work of art! Meals Included – Dinner.

Day 2 - Tuesday, May 1
Begin the day with a delicious buffet breakfast. We will then meet our professional tour guide to learn about the Amish Farmlands. Venture out onto the "Roads Less Traveled" through the heart of the Amish Farmlands. Enjoy picturesque scenery as you meander across country roads where time seems to stand still. See the pristine Amish farms, one-room schoolhouses, wind wheels, Amish "phone booths" and farmers working the fields with their horse or mule-drawn plows. Depart for an Amish Quilt & Craft Shop on an Amish farm! Have an opportunity to meet the Amish in person as you browse through a colorful array of exquisite handmade quilts and unique country crafts. A country surprise awaits you, somewhere along the way. We can’t tell you what it is because we don’t know, and if we did, it wouldn’t be a surprise! But on any given day, there’s something of interest to be explored in the beautiful Amish countryside. We will have lunch on our own at Kitchen Kettle Village. Where you will stroll through the village of 42 shops and restaurants built around our nationally celebrated Jam & Relish Kitchen. Sample pepper jam; watch fudge being rolled and listen as Banjo Jimmy plays a tune. And did we mention the shopping? It's like a treasure hunt with everything from hand carved signs, to handmade quilts, to Brighton leather goods, to UGG boots and so much more. This day is not over yet. We will now depart for Sight & Sound Theater to take in the show “Jesus.” Sight & Sound Theatres invites you to experience the greatest rescue story of all time! Jesus is the action packed musical stage adventure that takes you on a miraculous journey alongside the most famous person to ever walk the earth, and the everyday people
whose lives he changed forever. Tonight, we have a truly memorable experience as we are welcomed into a real Amish home for an authentic Amish meal. Day 3 – Wednesday, May 2
Today we will enjoy an early morning breakfast buffet before departing for Gettysburg. Our day begins at Gettysburg Visitors Center. You will see the Gettysburg Museum, Film and Cyclorama. The Gettysburg Museum of the Civil War features items from one of the largest collections of Civil War relics in the world. A 20-minute film entitled "A New Birth of Freedom" about the Battle of Gettysburg will be shown after which we will head directly to the cyclorama auditorium to view the "Gettysburg Cyclorama", the dramatic 1884 painting that depicts "Pickett's Charge". Today lunch is on our own at the Gettysburg Visitor’s Center. The Refreshment Saloon at Gettysburg National Military Park is modeled after actual refreshment saloons that existed during the Civil War. It was to offer wary soldiers a place to have a meal and a brief respite from the harsh realities of war. Our next stop is the Battlefield Tour, in which you will experience countless stories and breathtaking landmarks, terrain, vistas and monuments with a Licensed Battlefield Guide. We will have a little time for shopping in Downtown Gettysburg before dinner at the Historic Fairfield Inn with origins dating to 1757. General and Mrs. Lee (professional re-enactors) will delight your group with their realistic and entertaining reenactment of their life during the Civil War. The presentation takes place as you enjoy your dessert at the Fairfield Inn. Meals Included – Breakfast, Dinner.

Day 2 – Monday, June 18
We will enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel before checking out and heading to the Fenimore Art Museum. The Fenimore Art Museum presents permanent changing exhibitions. The Museum also has a great deal of material associated with James Fenimore Cooper, Cooperstown's most famous native son, and his family. This day is not over yet! Our final stop is the Farmers’ Museum, in the fields and wooded hilltops that overlook Otsego Lake. We will discover what life was like in rural America in the 1840s. The Museum, founded in 1943, comprises a working farmstead, a recreated historic village, The Empire State Carousel, and a Colonial Revival stone barn listed on the National Register for Historic Places. The Museum preserves important examples of upstate New York architecture, early agricultural tools and equipment, and heritage livestock. Its collection of more than 23,000 items encompass significant historic objects ranging from butter molds to carriages, hand planes to plows. While exploring the Museum you could you can stop by the Crossroads Café, located next to Bump Tavern in the Historic Village, for fresh homemade soups and chili, cold and hot drinks, fresh baked goods and ice cream. Day 2 – Wednesday, June 20 – Niagara Falls Touring, Hornblower Cruises & Journey Behind the Falls
Awake to the thunderous roar of Niagara’s Falls! After breakfast, we’ll depart for the White Water Walk, Journey behind the Falls, Niagara Fury before we break for lunch on our own at Table Rock. After lunch we will step aboard the all-new Hornblower Niagara Cruise a once-in-a-lifetime experience, taking you into the mighty mists of the Horseshoe Falls! Day 3 – Thursday, June 21 – Niagara on the Lake Touring, Winery Visit & Tasting and Skylon Tower Dinner.
Following breakfast depart for a wonderful day, visiting such sites as the Hydro Floral Clock which is maintained by The School of Horticulture students. The clock face is changed twice a season indicating the changing flora and fauna life throughout the year. Then, visit the Niagara Parks Botanical Garden which is the home to the only school for horticultural training in Canada. Now we will depart for Niagara-on-the-Lake. Enjoy some free time in the charming Victorian style village of Niagara On The Lake for lunch on own, shopping and browsing. This afternoon, we’ll drive through this magnificent wine country, and enjoy a visit to one of the regions renowned Vineyards and enjoy a tasting. The tasting will consist of a tour, four-wine tasting, and opportunity to experience their Ice Room. Tonight, enjoy dinner at the Skylon Tower’s world-famous Revolving Dining Room, an elegant setting 775 ft. above the Falls. Day 2 – Monday, July 16 - Sonnenberg
Gardens, Canandaigua Cruise, Belhurst Castle Wine Tasting & Dinner
Enjoy breakfast this morning and then depart for a visit to Sonnenberg Gardens & Mansion State Historic Park. This 40-room Queen Anne-style mansion is perched atop the sun-bathed hill of the estate known as “Sonnenberg” (German for “sunny hill”). Enjoy a tour of the mansion viewing many of its stately rooms, including the impressive Great Hall, the Billiard and Trophy Rooms and stroll through the nine formal gardens. Enjoy lunch on own at High Noon Café and then enjoy time at the Finger Lakes Wine Center, featuring some of the best wines and gourmet food products from more than 40 partner wineries and farms. This afternoon, we’ll board the Canandaigua Lady, a 19th century steamboat replica and an authentic double-decker paddle wheeler for a scenic cruise on Canandaigua Lake. Dine and cruise into relaxation while listening to a captivating narration on our sixty-five-ton Mississippi style paddle wheel boat. This Morning we depart for coastal Maine. Our first stop is The Nubble Lighthouse in York. One of the most photographed lighthouses in the country. We continue on to Portland, Maine and the quaint Old Port. You will have time to get lunch on your own and visit the many shops of Old Port. Tonight, we check in to the Blue Nose Inn, 90 Eden St. Bar Harbor, Maine. Tel: (800-445-4077) This is the “Most Beautiful Island in America” with sweeping views of Frenchman Bay, the Bluenose Inn is the perfect hotel accommodation choice for this vacation in Maine’s famed Mount Desert Island, home of Acadia National Park. Tour stops include the summit of Cadillac Mountain (the highest point on the eastern seaboard), Thunder Hole (an oceanside stop), and the Jordan Pond House. Day 3 – Tuesday, August 7

Day 4 – Wednesday, August 8
After breakfast we board the Motorcoach for the Cog Railroad to the Summit of Mt. Washington. Climb to the Top of Mount Washington, the highest peak in New England, on the world's first mountain-climbing Cog Railway train! Experience a sense of adventure and history on the Cog Railway's 3-hour round-trip to the top of Mount Washington. This scenic train ride allows visitors to take in the spectacular panoramic view, spanning the White Mountains of New Hampshire and all of the Northeastern United States. Make sure you wear a warm jacket. This afternoon we will have lunch on our own and visit some shops before visiting the Flume. The Flume is a natural gorge extending 800 feet at the base of Mount Liberty. The walls of Conway granite rise to a height of 70 to 90 feet and are 12 to 20 feet apart. A trip into the Flume begins and ends at the Flume Visitor's Center. Guests can choose to walk through the Gorge, or do a two-mile loop. The walk includes uphill walking and lots of stairs. The boardwalk allows you to look closely at the growth of flowers, ferns and mosses found here. You may choose to walk through the gorge or watch the movie showcasing beautiful Franconia Notch State Park. We will check into the Grand Resort Hotel 228 E. Mountain Road Killington, Vt. Day 5 – Thursday, August 9
Breakfast included before we travel to the Gondola in Killington to enjoy a relaxing mile and a quarter ride in an enclosed 8-person gondola cabin to the top of 4,241-foot Killington Peak. Once your gondola cabin arrives at the peak, take a short walk to the Peak Lodge for top-of-the-world views. Next a scenic stroll from the village center of Woodstock, Vermont, Billings Farm & Museum is regarded as one of the finest outdoor history museums in the country. Combining a fully-operating Jersey dairy farm with educational exhibits and interactive programs and events, Billings Farm & Museum is committed to providing education and enjoyment to visitors of all ages. From meeting our award-winning Jersey dairy cows, draft horses, and sheep, to exploring the carefully restored 1890 Farm House, sampling Billings Farm cheddar, and taking part in hands-on activities. There really is something for everyone! We will enjoy a bagged lunch and ice cream on the farm before we return to the Grand Resort for a dinner and evening on own. Day 6 – Friday, August 10
Enjoy your final full buffet breakfast before departing for Hildene in Manchester. Hildene is the Robert Todd Lincoln home, the son of Abraham Lincoln. Abe, who was born in a log cabin and called from the humblest rank in life to preside over our nation during the most momentous period of its history. One generation later, Robert Todd Lincoln, the only child of Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln to survive to adulthood, became Chairman of the Pullman Company, the largest manufacturing corporation at the turn of the 20th century. He built his Georgian Revival mansion in 1905 in the scenic village of Manchester. It became home to only Lincoln descendants until 1975, longer than any other Lincoln residence. It is the Great American Story. We will have a guided tour of Robert and Mary Lincoln’s home as well the formal gardens and the Pullman car exhibits. Day 3 – Wednesday, September 12
Enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet at 501 Beach Restaurant before departing for a day at Atlantic City. Then we will return back to the hotel to have dinner at The Merion Inn. The Merion Inn is located at 106 Decatur Place has been a part of the Cape May Scene since the summer of 1885. It has retained the charm and graciousness of the Victorian Era. Once again enjoy the evening to yourself. Meals Included – breakfast, dinner.

Day 4 – Thursday – September 13
Enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet at 501 Beach Restaurant before we head out on our morning Trolley Tour of the Historic District. Your Trolley tour will begin and end at the Marquis de Lafayette. One of Cape May’s old fashioned trolleys will be waiting for you at the front of the Marquis. Board for a narrated tour of Cape May and enjoy the guide’s expert narration as she/he points out architectural oddities and features. You will also hear many fascinating stories and anecdotes about Cape May’s history The tour is approximately 45 minutes and the trolley will return to the Marquis at 11:45am. The remainder of the afternoon and evening is free for you to explore Washington Mall and Cape May on your own. Meals Included – breakfast.

Day 5 – Friday, September 14

Day 2 – Saturday, September 22
Today we will be getting up at the “crack of dawn.” We will be grabbing a Continental Breakfast to travel, for those guests departing for the early morning balloon launch. Arriving at Warren County Airport to view over 100 Balloon launches and explore the Festival exhibits, returning to Surfside for their Bountiful Buffet Breakfast in our Club Hamilton Restaurant. After the morning festivities we will depart for Lake Placid Olympic Village, for light lunch at the Generations Restaurant at The Golden Arrow Resort. We will explore Lake Placid Olympic Village. Today we will begin our tour to the most elegant place in America. This is a Victorian Castle, Mohonk Mountain House. Any season is the perfect season to visit Mohonk with its magnificent views of the Hudson Valley. The resort is nestled in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains, built on the deep-blue waters of Lake Mohonk in 1869. Day 1 – Monday, September 24
Today we depart for the most beautiful place on earth, this Victorian Castle, Mohonk Mountian House. But before we arrive at our destination we will stop and experience the West Point Tour. This tour combines the West Point Story with the West Point Museum, our nation's oldest federal museum. We will visit galleries expanding on the wide contribution of both West Point and the U.S. Army to the development of our country. This tour has moderate walking with stairs in the museum. Then we will depart for Mohonk Mountain House and enjoy a lovely dinner prepared by their world-renowned chefs. Meals Included – Dinner.

Day 2 – Tuesday, September 25
This morning we will start the day with a delicious breakfast followed by lunch at the hotel, before we depart for a Hudson River Cruise. Each sightseeing cruise includes The Hudson River Lighthouses including the Rondout and the Esopus Meadows Lighthouse, The Wyndcliff Mansion, at one time one of the most opulent and extravagant homes on the east shore of the Hudson. The “Dinsmore,” built in 1936 for Mr. and Mrs. Lytell Hull Wilderstein, a restored Victorian mansion that originally was an Italian Villa design The benchmark of Victorian opulence. The Rosemont: originally known as the “Tank & Tummy” tavern when it opened in the Hudson River Valley in 1740. Other highlights of your Hudson River sightseeing cruise include the Kingston Rhinecliff Bridge that connects East Kingston with Rhinebeck, the Esopus Meadows, and the impressive Mt. St. Alphonsus seminary, a castle like seminary. Then we return to the hotel and dress for dinner. Make sure that you have checked out all the grounds. You do not want to miss a thing! Day 3 – Wednesday, September 26

Today we will board the coach and head for our Holiday Spirit tour of Memphis and Branson, checking out attractions in different states along the way. First stop is a visit to the Erie Canal Museum in Syracuse, NY. We will have a guided tour of the canal and museum, highlighting the important role the Erie Canal played in the development of our country. Tours include a short history of the Erie Canal, the National Register 1850 Weighlock building, our full-size replica line boat, the education gallery, and more. Day 3 – Saturday, November 10
We will enjoy breakfast at the Hotel before we head for Elvis Country, Memphis, TN. Our first stop today is at Sun Studio for a tour of the recording studio opened by rock-and-roll pioneer Sam Phillips at 706 Union Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee. It is a mansion on a 13.8-acre estate in Memphis and was owned by Elvis Presley. Lunch at Graceland is on your own and we will depart for Branson, MO. Dinner tonight is at Landry’s Seafood Restaurant followed by the famous Presley’s Country Jubilee Christmas Show, this show should get you into the Christmas Spirit. Day 6 – Tuesday, November 13
Enjoy another breakfast at the Hotel before we depart for the Yakov Smirnoff Morning Show “As long as we both shall laugh.” Lunch is on your own in Downtown Branson, before we head to the Titanic Museum. Dinner is at the Black Oak Grill – Branson Landing followed by Samson at Sight & Sound Theatre. It is time to pack up we will be departing in the morning for our travel back. Day 7 – Wednesday, November 14
Enjoy your final breakfast at the Hotel in Branson because we are on the road again. The first stop today will be in Springfield, MO for a Jeep Driven Tram Tour of Fantastic Caverns. Today's riding tour tells a story. Along the roomy, brightly lit passageways, we can see thousands of speleothems - cave formations that include stalactites and stalagmites, tiny soda straws, cave pearls, massive columns and flowstones, each one like no other, and all created by water a drop at a time, take us back through the ages to a day when no human footstep was heard here. After that exciting Cavern tour, we head to have lunch at the famous Lambert’s Café – “Home of the Throwed Rolls.” Next, we will depart for St. Louis, MO Checking into the Drury Plaza Hotel at the Arch 2 South 4th Street St. Louis, MO Tel: 314-231-3003 Enjoy the complimentary Kickback Reception at the hotel – snack for some, dinner for others, if you are still hungry you are welcome to have dinner on your own while exploring St. Louis. It takes a special place to craft the Official Bat of Major League Baseball. Experience history-in-the-making as you stroll through the factory where world famous Louisville Slugger baseball bats, used by MLB star players, are made. The Louisville Slugger Museum is home of the World's Biggest Baseball Bat and offers interactive and interesting exhibits along with a bat factory tour and batting cages. Next, we will depart for Ohio and checking into the Drury Inn & Suites 109 Parkway Centre Drive Grove City, OH Tel: 614-875-7000. This suburb, only nine miles south of downtown, has a walkable downtown shopping and dining district known as Town Center, and a living history museum called Century Village. Dinner tonight is at Schmidt’s Restaurant and Sausage Haus – Since 1886, Schmidt’s has been making sausage and has been a successful restaurant since 1967. Day 9 – Friday, November 16
Enjoy another great breakfast at the Hotel before we depart for Cleveland, OH. We will Tour “A Christmas Story House” & Museum - A Christmas Story House, now restored to its movie splendor. Directly across the street from the house is the official A Christmas Story House Museum, which features original props, costumes and memorabilia from the film, as well as hundreds of rare behind-the-scenes photos. Among the props and costumes are the toys from the Higbee’s window, Randy’s snowsuit, the chalkboard from Miss Shields’ classroom and the family car. After lunch on our own we will be departing for Corning, NY and Checking into the Radisson Hotel Corning 125 Denison Parkway E., Corning, NY Tel: (607-962-5000) for our final night stay, before heading for home. Day 10 – Saturday, November 17
We will enjoy our final breakfast at the Hotel together before we depart for home but not without making a visit to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. First and foremost, the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is a place to honor the game. When it was dedicated on June 12, 1939 in Cooperstown, N.Y., the Hall of Fame officially became the home of baseball by serving as its cornerstone and housing the stories honoring the greats of baseball's past. After this final stop we will be headed home.
